1. Acceptance of Terms
You may use the Services only if you can form a binding contract with RPVERSE.NET and are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction. In any case, you must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of these Terms, as they may be updated from time to time. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at our sole discretion. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Services and updating the “Last Updated” date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
2. Your Account and Content
2.1. Account Information: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use “strong” passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols). RPVERSE.NET will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.
2.2. Content Ownership: You retain your rights to any and all Content you submit, post, or display on or through the Services. “Content” includes, but is not limited to, text, images, photos, videos, audio, and any other materials you post, including your original characters, worlds, plots, and role-playing narratives.
2.3. License to RPVerse.Net: By submitting, posting, or displaying Content on or through the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such Content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed). This license is for the limited purpose of operating, developing, providing, and improving the Services and to promote our Services.
This license also extends to third-party services and partners who may use, syndicate, broadcast, distribute, or publish the Content submitted on our Services. For example, if you participate in a public role-play, other users may share, quote, or incorporate your publicly available Content into their own work on and off the platform, subject to their own legal rights and obligations.
2.4. Your Warranties: You represent and warrant that you have all the rights, power, and authority necessary to grant the rights granted herein to any Content that you submit. You also represent and warrant that your Content will not:
- infringe or violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights of any third party;
- contain any unlawful, defamatory, libelous, or otherwise objectionable material;
- violate any applicable law or regulation.
3. Role-playing and Community Guidelines
The Services are a space for collaborative storytelling. To ensure a safe and creative environment for everyone, you agree to abide by the following community guidelines and restrictions:
3.1. Respectful Role-playing: We encourage imaginative and intense narratives, but all role-playing and content must comply with our policies. You must not:
- Post or engage in role-playing that involves non-consensual sexual content, including sexual violence or abuse, regardless of whether it is “fictional” or “in-character.”
- Create, share, or engage in Content that depicts or promotes real-world violence, hate speech, or illegal acts.
- Engage in real-life harassment, bullying, or intimidation of other users.
3.2. Fictional vs. Real-Life: You understand and agree that the distinction between “in-character” and “out-of-character” is critical. You must clearly label or indicate when your content or behavior is fictional. RPVERSE.NET may not monitor or control the Content posted via the Services, and we cannot take responsibility for such Content. Any use or reliance on Content is at your own risk.
3.3. Content Ratings and Tags: You are responsible for accurately rating and tagging your Content to warn other users about mature themes, sensitive topics, or graphic descriptions.
3.4. Impersonation: You may not impersonate any staff member herein RPVERSE.NET. You may impersonate any real celebrities and such but do not come off as you are staff member or administrator of RPVERSE.NET.

8.3. Waiver and Severability: The failure of RPVERSE.NET to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
